            Sundays | 10:45 a.m.

 Sundays | 9:30 a.m.

Our Life groups off all age groups meet before church for small group studies in the bible.

Where should I park?

Our guest parking lot is located along Watson Road at the main entrance to the church.  You will also find street parking in front of the church along Scanlan and Tamm street. If you have mobility restrictions, feel free to get assistance from one of our greeters at the front entrance. We’re here to help!

What should I wear?

Please come in whatever makes you feel comfortable.  There is no reason to be overly concerned about what you’ll wear when visiting our church.  We truly believe people should come to God as they are and you don’t need to look a certain way to get His approval.  When you walk into our church, you’ll see that people are in all kinds of different clothing. Casual clothing is the most common attire and casual attire is just as welcome as dressing up, and you might see a little bit of both. Some people like to wear jeans; while some people prefer to wear slacks or dresses.  You will always be accepted however you come.  The important thing to the family at Southwest Baptist Church is that you’re here.

What to expect when you walk in?

You will receive a friendly welcome from our church on Sunday mornings. A greeter will usually welcome you at the front entrance who can show you where everything is.  They’ll help you find the sanctuary if you’re coming for our 10:45am Sunday worship service.  Or, if you’ve come early to join our 9:30am small group studies in the bible, they’ll help you connect with a life group and a study that will be appropriate.  Our greeters can also point you to the restrooms and if you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters will be able to provide helpful answers.

What to expect during our worship service?

Our typical Sunday morning worship service will usually include prayer, music, fellowship, a few words of encouragement from our members, and a biblical message from our Pastor.  We thrive on God-focused preaching and teaching from the bible and learning about how a relationship with God can make a difference in our lives and impact the people around us.  On designated occasions, our service may also include the celebration of Baptism and participating in the Lord’s Supper.

Worship Music is a big part of how we praise God in our church.  Visitors will have the opportunity to simply enjoy listening to the music or singing along with traditional hymns or live praise music played by our worship ensemble.  Our service will sometimes include special music presented by church members and guest musicians.

Whether it’s through Bible-based preaching, powerful music, prayer, or fellowship, we strive to enable every worshiper to experience the presence of God at Southwest Baptist.

Do you provide childcare?

Children are welcome to join our adult worship services.  However, if you wish, you may have your children attend Children’s church.  Children will be dismissed to Children’s church before the Pastor’s sermon for Bible-based activities and fun.
